Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriting Manager to lead a team
of underwriters and drive profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of underwriters to enhance their skills and
ensure quality underwriting decisions
Oversee team management, including performance standards,
evaluations, and recommendations for compensation and
promotions
Develop and execute underwriting processes while maintaining
compliance with regulations and fostering team development
Required Qualifications
8+ years of underwriting experience, particularly in Personal
Lines
3+ years of leadership experience
Proficiency in leveraging technology for results and collaborating
with IT teams
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office
products
Experience with BriteCore is preferred but not required
