• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days
• Employment Type: TravelWe are seeking an experienced Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a Day Shift schedule (3x12 hours per week). This role is ideal for a skilled professional with expertise in post-operative recovery, trauma, and pediatric care.
  
  Roles and Responsibilities:
  Provide high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery.
  Monitor patients for complications, ensuring safe and effective recovery.
  Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  Manage pain control and sedation according to hospital protocols.
  Utilize NIH-Stroke assessment tools to evaluate neurological status.
  Document patient progress using the designated EMR system.
  
  Requirements:
  Experience: Minimum 2+ years of PACU experience in a Trauma Level 1 or 2 facility; ICU experience required.
  Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH-Stroke.
  Other Details: PACU inpatient experience and pediatric experience required.
