Requirements
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide specialized care to patients in the Neuro ICU, closely
monitoring neurological status and vital signs.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions based on care
plans for patients with neurological conditions.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care
plans and interventions.
Manage patient care, ensuring that all procedures and treatments
are carried out in a safe and timely manner.
Assist in the assessment and management of patient's post-surgery,
including neurological surgeries and procedures.
Ensure accurate documentation of all care provided in the Epic
charting system.
Participate in patient and family education related to neurological
conditions, recovery plans, and lifestyle modifications.
Requirements:
Experience: 2+ years in Neuro ICU or related ICU experience.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA).
Licensure: Active CA RN license
Charting System: Epic experience preferred.
Other: Critical care experience required. Ability to handle
high-pressure situations effectively.
