    Summary
    Reporting to the Emergency Director of Patient Care Services/Shift Manager, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing processPosition Accountabilities - - - - - - - -

Initiates a multidisciplinary, goal oriented care plan for each patient in collaboration with members of the health care team and provides care based on that plan. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -2. Ensures patient safety by assessing and proactively implementing safety measures with specific consideration of patient's functional and developmental age. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -3. Provides appropriate nursing interventions. -Competent in all routine nursing skills, including: (1) medication administration, (2) intravenous therapy, (3) management of indwelling catheters and drains, and (4) safe use of any medical equipment. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -4.
