    Responsibilities:
    The CT Technologist 3 is a board certified CT Technologists specializing in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Collaborates directly with Radiologist regarding CT scan protocol and scan sequence. Provides patient instruction of procedure method. Injects IV contrast for organ enhancement, under the direction of a Radiologist. Trains and/or provides leadership guidance for Radiologic Technology students, Radiologic Technologists, other Imaging professionals and staff. Performs and manages specialized procedures/services to enhance services offered by the department..
    
    Qualifications:
    Experience/Education:
    • Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology required
    • 5 years experience working as a Computed Tomography Technologist required License/Certification:BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
      • One of the following is required
      • CRT - State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist
      • CTNM - State of California Certified Tech Nuclear Medicine
      • And one of the following is required
      • ARRT(CT) - ARRT Computed Tomography
      • NMTCBCT - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Computed TomographyPREFERRED: California Department of Public Health Fluoroscopy permit. -
