Volt is immediately hiring for a Prep & Powder in Fresno, CA.

As a Prep & Powder you will:

Perform an assortment of activities to prepare weldments and other fabricated parts for powder coating.
Includes grinding, blasting, and general preparation of weldments for powder coating and final surface finishing.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring precision when measuring or applying powders.
Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle tools and materials carefully and efficiently.
Knowledge of Tools and Equipment: Familiarity with equipment like mixers, dispensers, or coating machines (if applicable).
Basic Math Skills: For measuring ingredients or materials accurately.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

This is a full-time opportunity.

Shifts: 6:00 AM- 3:00 PM

The ideal candidate will have:

Standing for Long Periods: May be required to stand for extended periods of time.
Lifting: Some roles may require lifting heavy bags or containers of powder.
Ability to Work in Controlled Environments: Depending on the industry, working in environments like clean rooms or areas with strict hygiene standards.
experience in Manufacturing or Production (Preferred): Experience in a similar position or industry can be a plus.
Safety Training: Knowledge of safety protocols, especially when handling chemicals or materials that may be hazardous.
Certifications: Depending on the industry, certifications in handling materials or operating machinery might be required (e.g., OSHA certifications for manufacturing environments).
Cosmetic Industry: Knowledge of cosmetics or skincare products, along with hygiene and quality control standards.
Pharmaceutical/Manufacturing Industry: Awareness of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and strict adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols.
Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team environment.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and other team members.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly when they arise in the preparation or application process.

Pay Rate: $16.50-$18.50 per hour depending on experience


*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
