Job Description:
A company is looking for an Appeals Specialist responsible for
monitoring and tracking the status of appeals related to the Cost
Containment program.
Key Responsibilities
Independently review and analyze appeals related to Cost
Containment programs
Document claim specifics into current software and route
documentation for review/resolution
Respond to inquiries related to the No Surprises Act and
Independent Dispute Resolution
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma; College and Advanced Degrees preferred
2-4 years of experience analyzing healthcare claims required
Knowledge of ICD and/or CPT codes required
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to multi-task and work within multiple systems
